Tbilisi, Georgia – More than 4,000 employees of Evolution Georgia, a major provider of online casino games, have initiated an indefinite strike and outlined their primary demands. The protest was marked by a solidarity rally held near the company's office in the Didube district of the capital.

The employees are demanding:

1. Salary Increases: A 100% raise for card dealers, game presenters, and supervisors, a 10% increase for mentors, adjustments based on years of service, annual salary indexing to match inflation rates, and the addition of a tipping feature to the payment system.

2. Labor Code Protections: Amendments to labor contracts and regulations to align with current labor laws.

3. Medical Provisions: The establishment of an on-site medical facility, an additional three days of paid leave for menstruation upon a doctor's recommendation, and improved health insurance coverage.

4. Sanitary Standards: Strict enforcement of sanitary and hygiene standards in the workplace.

5. Dismissal of Managers: The removal of certain managers implicated in insulting employees, with related correspondence having been made public.

6. Compensation for Strike Days: Payment for the days spent on strike as if they were regular workdays.

Official Statement from Evolution Georgia:

The company has engaged in mediation efforts, aiming for constructive dialogue with the involved parties. Unfortunately, an agreement could not be reached through this process, leading a portion of employees to opt for a strike while the majority continue to work. The studio remains operational and will adhere to the legal process, acting in accordance with Georgian labor legislation.
